It could be intimidating, being the new person, when a look around finds everyone else seemingly knows where to go and what to do, at the right moment. Here's a cheatsheet for you, and don't worry, no tests.
- What is it like? Trinity Lutheran follows a "traditional" setting for services. Most people arrive a few minutes early to chat with others and grab a bulletin.
- What about my kids? Kids are so very welcomed! Sunday School is Sept-May at 9:15AM, using the east-facing door. During services, kids of all ages can go up during the Children's Message, hear an age-appropriate lesson from the Gospel, and get a piece of candy as a reward. Noises are expected during services, and often other adults will make a distracting funny face or offer to help when needed. Located in the rear of the sancuiary, a "cry room" has a few toys, comfy chair and a restroom if needed. Big picture, Trinity embraces families, kids, and even the messiness that comes with both.
- Where do I park? Anywhere! There are handicap spots near the elevator entrance, othwise anywhere in the paved area to the east, or school parking to the south.
- What do I wear? Think business casual to even more casual. Some pick a collared shirt or dress, and some a tee and jeans or shorts. Jesus didn't have a dress code, and neither do we.
- How can I get connected? A great place to start would be Deacon Claire, or any member you feel comfortable talking with already.
